Israel’s intelligence minister, Gila Gamliel, is hosting Prince Reza Pahlavi in Jerusalem
Israel’s intelligence minister, Gila Gamliel, welcomed the exiled Iranian crown prince and son of the Shah at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, Reza Ciro Pahlavi, and his wife Jasmine. Pahlavi himself wrote it on Twitter. “We are happy to be here and to work for a peaceful and prosperous future that the people of our region deserve. From the children of Cyrus to the children of Israel, we will build this future together, in friendship,” she said on Twitter. Announcing his visit, the prince said he wanted to “engage Israeli water experts on ways to address the regime’s abuse of Iran’s natural resources and pay tribute to the victims of the Holocaust.”
