Inside Casa Cruz, the most expensive new restaurant in New York City
“It’s all a new riff on the DNA of London,” says Charlotte Santo Domingo, Santa Cruz’s partner in the New York venture. Five of the townhouse’s six floors are open to the public, offering a menu similar to the one at Casa Cruz in London, with staples like the bottarga cacio e pepe and the spiced corn. The drawing room on the fourth floor, fitted with turntables and a wood-burning fireplace, is reserved for the restaurant’s nearly 100 investor partners, who benefit from perks like a special wine list and key access to the private elevator.
