Homayoun Shajarian, the renowned Iranian musician known for his mastery of the Kamancheh, has had a noteworthy career in the world of classical music. Born into a family deeply rooted in musical traditions, Shajarian started his musical journey at the Tehran Conservatory of Music, specializing in the Kamancheh under the guidance of Ardeshir Kamkar.
In 1991, Shajarian accompanied his father in concerts across the United States and Europe as a member of the Ava Music Ensemble, showcasing his talent not only in Kamancheh but also on Tombak. As the years progressed, he expanded his repertoire, adding vocals to his performances from 1999 onwards.
