According to a report by Mehr, Ali Tajernia, a member of the steering council of the 14th government, announced on the X social network about Mohammad Reza Aref’s new position. In his tweet, he wrote: “Dr. Mohammad Reza Aref, who served as Khatami’s first deputy, has now been appointed the first deputy of Masoud Mezikian.” This announcement underscores the trust and confidence placed in Aref’s capabilities to navigate the complexities of Iran’s political landscape.
