Funeral Ceremony of the Late Dr. Zahra Shojaei
When Nabavi left the funeral services, he could not help but be weighed down by the pain of loss mixed with determination. He realized that even though Dr. Zahra Shojaei had died, it was important for someone to take up the mantle she had thrown down. Leaving the premises later, Nabavi felt a sense of responsibility again as he desired to keep her memory alive through his efforts to achieve social justice and women’s rights in Iran.
Nabavi, walking along the street, could see the city’s vibrant energy standing out in stark contrast to the solemnity of the funeral ceremony. However, deep down, he knew that there were numerous individuals who saw things from his point of view and who wanted to generate a more inclusive society.
As Nabavi returned home on foot, he pondered how tough it would be going forward. Definitely, achieving substantial reforms would involve many difficulties along the way; nonetheless, thinking about Dr. Shojaei and her unfaltering dedication moved him steadily towards this path.
On his arrival at his doorstep, Nabavi paused briefly, reflecting on all that had happened during the day. He understood that, although they were far from being done with seeking justice socially, Nabavi also knew that he wasn’t alone in this quest either. The presence of allies gathered around him made him realize there was future hope left for him.
The sun went down, painting a lovely glow across the land, when finally Nabavi pledged silently to continue fighting relentlessly for a just Iran in memory of Dr.Zahra Shojaei. With courage in his heart and remembrance of Dr. Shojaei’s legacy leading him forth, whatever challenges lay before him that night appeared immaterial to Nabavi.
