Nabavi continued to pay his respects to the deceased as he reflected on the passage of time and milestones in their collaborative pursuit of social change. From its inception in those early days of activism to its hard-fought battles for women’s rights and democratic reform,.

Nabavi was undeterred by the physical aging process; his loyalty to those values he shared with Dr. Shojaei had not waned over time. His presence at the ceremony was proof that he was still committed to such a cause, which grew even stronger with age.

For Nabavi, mingling with others who have come in sorrow helped him find consolation and comradeship during the occasion. In this regard, Nabavi spoke warmly about good old memories that they all shared with friends who were involved in it, having experienced many hardships together.

However, amid such sadness, there is always hope for future generations because Dr. Zahra Shojaei and others like her left legacies inspire the coming times. Amongst these were bravery, resilience, and indomitable spirit as a response to adversity.

At last, when the funeral ceremony came to an end, Nabavi found himself reenergized with a renewed sense of purposefulness. He knew that memories of those gone before him would keep burning bright as long as people fought for equality and social justice. With a heavy heart but a resolute mind, Nabavi walked away from the service, ready to move forward with progress in memory of Dr.Zahra Shojaei and other predecessors.
