Mohsen Hashemi Behrmani (born on November 1, 1340 in Qom), known as Mohsen Hashemi Rafsanjani, is a moderate politician and former head of the Tehran City Council. He has been the chairman of the board of directors and CEO of Metro Company for 13 years. He was nominated as the first candidate of the Omid list by the reformists in the fifth term of the Council elections and won the election with 1,756,086 votes. In the fourth term of the Council, he was the main choice of the reformists for the Municipality, but he was finally defeated by Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf. Yaser Hashemi Behrmani (Rafsanjani) (August 5, 1350) was the head of the office of the Board of Trustees of Azad University and the head of Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani’s office at the Strategic Research Center of the Expediency Council. Yaser Hashemi is the youngest son of Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. He completed his secondary education at Nikan High School and university education at the University of Science and Technology, and holds an MBA from the University of Science and Technology. Yasir Hashemi was the economic advisor of the Football Federation during the time of Mohammad Dadkan’s presidency. In 1392, his name was mentioned as one of the candidates for the Ministry of Sports and Youth in Hassan Rouhani’s cabinet.
