Beginning of Acting Career

Fariba Kosari began her acting career in 1988 with the film “On the Path of a Hurricane,” directed by Masoud Jafari Jozani. Shortly thereafter, she appeared in the TV series “Part Four Surgery,” directed by Masoud Foroutan. During this time, Iran was recovering from the aftermath of the Iran-Iraq War, and acting classes were scarce. Fariba had to learn the craft on the job, gaining invaluable experience alongside some of the industry’s veteran actors.

Rising Fame with “Lost Innocence”

Fariba’s career truly soared when she starred in the critically acclaimed series “Lost Innocence” in 2009. Directed by Davoud Mirbagheri, this role marked a turning point in her acting journey, making her a household name in Iran. Subsequently, she gained further acclaim for her performances in notable series such as “Delnowazan” and “Mokhtarnameh,” both of which solidified her reputation as a talented actress.
