Farhad Ayesh, originally named Farhad Heshmati Aghdaei, was born on September 17, 1952, in Shemiran, Iran. His family hails from Aghda in Yazd Province. Tragically, Ayesh lost his father in an accident when he was just five years old. His mother, a visionary school principal, dedicated herself to raising him while instilling a love for education and the arts in their family.
Ayesh’s educational path began in Tehran, where he completed his elementary and high school studies. His burgeoning interest in the arts prompted him to pursue further education abroad. He eventually traveled to England, where he earned a degree in filmmaking, followed by additional studies in photography at a university in the United States. These formative years laid the groundwork for his artistic endeavors and honed his skills in filmmaking and theater.
