A Night of Glamour with Zar Amir Ebrahimi and Noora Niasari

Ebrahim Hamedi, better known as Ebi, is an iconic Iranian pop singer whose illustrious career spans over 50 years. Born in 1949 in Khorramdareh, Iran, Ebi’s musical journey began inspired by The Beatles. He formed various bands, including “the Rebels,” “Sunboys,” and “Black Cats” in the 1960s before embarking on a successful solo career.

In 1977, two years before the 1979 revolution in Iran, Ebi moved to Los Angeles, where he continued his musical pursuits in exile. Over the years, he released nearly 200 singles and over 30 albums, showcasing his versatility as a singer.

One of Ebi’s most famous songs is “Khalij-e Hamishegi-ye Fars” (Persian Gulf forever), known for its powerful lyrics by Adel Hassani and composed by Mohammad Shams. The song reflects his pride in his performance and remains a significant part of his musical legacy.

Ebi’s collaborative efforts include a joint album titled “Noon O Panir O Sabzi” with Dariush in 1990, as well as a joint world tour with Shadmehr Aghili called “Royaye Ma” in 2012. In 2014, he collaborated with Googoosh on the song “Nostalgia” and embarked on a joint world concert tour.
