Rise to Fame with “Nargess”

In 2006, Ebrahimi gained widespread recognition for her role in the television series “Nargess,” directed by Sirous Moghaddam. The series was a massive success and earned a Hafez Award for Best Television Series. She also starred in the drama film “Journey to Hidalou,” which won the Best Art & Experience Film award at the 34th Fajr Film Festival.

Relocation and Continued Success

After facing significant challenges in Iran, Ebrahimi relocated to Paris, France, in 2008. She continued her career by participating in numerous theatrical productions and films, such as “Silent Taheregan’s Dream” and “Tehran Taboo.” She founded her own production company, Alambic Production, and worked on various projects with the BBC, including directing documentaries and hosting cultural programs.

Acclaim for “Holy Spider”

In 2022, Ebrahimi’s role in “Holy Spider” brought her critical acclaim and multiple awards. The film, which centers on the true story of a serial killer in Iran, showcased her talents as both an actress and a casting director. Her performance received praise from critics and earned her prestigious accolades, including Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival.
