Biography of Puri Banai: The Untold Story of Betrayal, Success, and Love

Start in Arts: Tailoring, Ballet, and Music

An important chapter in the biography of Puri Banai is her start in the world of tailoring. After completing her 6th-grade education, Puri enrolled in a tailoring school. This decision was primarily influenced by the practical need for skills that could support her financially. However, she never lost sight of her dream of being an artist. During this period, Puri discovered ballet, which soon became a passion. She began training under Mrs. Lily Lazarian, which provided her an outlet for her creativity and discipline. Ballet not only gave Puri a foundation in movement and grace, but it also opened her up to the broader spectrum of the performing arts. Later, she also explored music, learning to play the dulcimer for two years. Her dedication to honing her skills across multiple disciplines reflected her commitment to understanding the arts in a holistic way.
