She garnered praise and awards for her performance in Rasool Sadr Aamili’s “Girl with Sneakers” at the age of 15. Throughout her career, she has appeared in numerous films, including “Three Women,” “Darband,” and “Mother of the Atomic Heart.”
In addition to her work in film, Ahangarani has also been involved in documentary filmmaking and theater. She has a history of political activism and was arrested in 2009 for her involvement in protests. Her mother, Manijeh Hekmat, revealed that Ahangarani was sentenced to 18 months in prison and faced restrictions on her movements for nearly three years due to her political activities.
