After 32 years of journalism, broadcasting, and editing, Enayat Fani is leaving the BBC to begin his retirement

I will retire. These long years of working at the BBC have been the best years of my professional life, and every moment has been enjoyable for me. Why not? In these years, I have had the highest level of love, respect, and support from colleagues at every level and position, as well as from viewers and listeners, and I have been free to do what I want within the framework of BBC editorial standards. In other words, the program was the best opportunity for me to interview a wide range of important and influential personalities in various fields of social and political life. I am indebted to all my colleagues, viewers, and listeners for their infinite love and support. I am also grateful to all of you, my dear friends in the virtual space, who constantly encouraged me with your comments, suggestions, and criticisms. I wish the best in life for all of you, dear ones.
