Mehdi Ghayedi (born 5 December 1998) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward or winger for Persian Gulf Pro League club Esteghlal and the Iran national team. On 8 June 2017, he signed a three-year contract with Esteghla Upon signing for Esteghlal, Ghayedi was given the number 16.
