About

We’re a team of young professionals covering entertainment, lifestyle, health, history, automotive, and multimedia stories for English-speaking readers worldwide. Goftar News exists because we wanted to give these topics the depth they deserve, in one place, without treating any of them as filler.

We started this platform because we saw a gap: readers interested in these topics often had to choose between outlets that covered one niche in real depth, or general news sites that treated these subjects as an afterthought squeezed between bigger headlines. As a team of young professionals building this from the ground up, we wanted Goftar News to bring genuine attention to entertainment, health, history, lifestyle, cars, and multimedia, all in one place, rather than treating any one of them as filler.

Our Approach

We aim to check claims against available sources before publishing, and to be clear about the difference between confirmed information and claims that are still developing or unverified. Where a story involves details that are disputed or unconfirmed, our goal is to say so plainly rather than present them as settled fact.

When we become aware that something we’ve published needs updating, we aim to reflect that on the article itself rather than letting outdated information stand unchanged. We see this as part of what a platform covering fast-moving topics like entertainment and current events owes its readers.

We try to keep editorial choices — what we cover and how — separate from how the site is monetized, so that reader interest, not ease of monetization, drives what gets published.

How the Site Operates

Goftar News is supported by advertising, which helps keep our content free to access for readers. Advertising helps fund the time and work that goes into research, writing, and editing, but our aim is for it to stay separate from editorial decisions about content.

What We Cover

We’d rather cover fewer stories well than fill space with thin coverage across every category.

How We Work

Our starting question for every story is simple: is this something our readers would genuinely want or need to know? From there, we try to write headlines that reflect what the article actually says, rather than headlines built to overstate a story for clicks.

We also try to revisit older articles over time rather than leaving them untouched indefinitely — particularly in areas like entertainment and health, where a detail accurate at the time of publication can become outdated within months.

Our Readers

Goftar News is written for a global, English-speaking audience with a genuine interest in the topics we cover. Our goal is for the site to be useful to that audience first — not built primarily around what search engines or advertisers might prefer.

If something we publish is unclear, incomplete, or needs a correction, we want to hear about it directly, rather than have it sit unaddressed.

Looking Ahead

Goftar News is still a relatively young platform, and our coverage will keep evolving as our team of young professionals grows and our readership grows with it. We expect our approach to reporting, and the depth of what we cover, to keep improving over time rather than staying fixed. Readers who follow us today are seeing an early version of what we’re aiming to build — and feedback from that early audience genuinely shapes where we focus next.
