Recreating Victorian Era Fashion Inspired by the TV Series Tasian Using Artificial Intelligence
Connecting Victorian Fashion to Tasian’s Character Design
Why Use Victorian Style in Tasian?
While Tasian is set in Iran during the late 1970s, the creative team aimed to incorporate elements of Victorian fashion for certain characters to evoke a sense of timeless elegance, social hierarchy, and dramatic flair. This stylistic choice also helped emphasize the characters’ personalities, social standing, and emotional states.
Designing Characters Inspired by Victorian Features
Using AI technology, designers recreated Victorian clothing features—such as voluminous skirts, corseted waists, puffy sleeves, and luxurious fabrics—to develop authentic costumes that blend historical fashion with the period-specific aesthetics of Tasian. This fusion enhances visual storytelling, emphasizing character depth and societal contrasts.
