Taraneh Alidoosti Attends Father Hamid Alidoosti’s Funeral as Football and Cinema Stars Gather
Hamid Alidoosti’s Documentary: Hamid’s Symphony
The documentary Hamid’s Symphony, directed by Jafar Sadeghi, provides another way to explore the life and personality of the former footballer.
The production examines aspects of Alidoosti’s personal and professional journey, presenting a portrait that extends beyond his achievements as a player.
The documentary is particularly relevant because Alidoosti’s life combined several different interests.
Football was central to his professional identity, but literature, music, philosophy, and cinema were equally important parts of his personal world.
His initial reluctance to have a documentary made about his life also reflected his reserved attitude toward public recognition.
The film provides an opportunity for audiences to understand why he was considered an unusual and intellectually curious figure within professional football.
