Ayatollah Shobeiri Zanjani Memorial Photos

Photos from the ceremony particularly attracted attention because of the number of senior figures who attended.

President Pezeshkian was among the most recognizable political figures present.

Religious scholars and officials were also photographed during the ceremony, while several reports documented conversations among attendees.

The images provide a visual record of one of the major memorial ceremonies held after Shobeiri Zanjani’s death.

What Happened at the Memorial Service?

The memorial ceremony was held at the mosque of the Shahid Motahari Higher School in Tehran.

The gathering included religious and official representatives who came to pay their respects.

President Masoud Pezeshkian attended the ceremony and expressed condolences to Shobeiri Zanjani’s family. Reports said that the gathering honored the late cleric’s religious, scholarly and spiritual position.

The event was therefore both a mourning gathering and a formal commemoration of a senior figure in Iran’s Shia religious community.
