Rima Raminfar: A Journey Through Art and Family in the Spotlight
Personal Life
Away from the spotlight, Rima Raminfar has cultivated a supportive family life with her husband, Amir Jafari, who is also a well-known actor in Iran. The couple first met around 1973 while sharing experiences in theater, specifically in the play “Two Executioners,” and pursuing acting classes under the mentorship of the late Hamid Samandarian. After a mutual admiration blossomed over years, they married 11 years later.
Raminfar and Jafari are parents to a son named Ain, born on September 26, 2007. As a family, they navigate the challenges of living in the public eye while emphasizing the importance of support and love in their household. Raminfar, being five years older than her husband, presents a unique dynamic in their relationship, showcasing the strength of partnership in the entertainment industry.
Writing Endeavors
In addition to her acting prowess, Rima Raminfar has made significant contributions as a writer. She has penned three screenplays that reflect her satirical take on societal themes. The series “Without Explanation” (2002), “Let’s Fasten Our Belts” (2004), and “Charkhoneh” (2007) showcase her ability to weave humor with social commentary, further establishing her versatility in the arts.
Her debut play, “Then Until Tomorrow,” premiered at the Fajr Theater Festival, where it garnered third place for playwriting. This acknowledgment from her peers underscored her talent beyond acting and highlighted her capability as a storyteller.
