Theater Roots

Reza Attaran’s artistic journey began in theater during the 1980s. He initially collaborated with director Hassan Hamed at the Children and Adolescents Intellectual Development Center in Mashhad. His early roles were mostly serious and non-comedic, but these experiences laid the foundation for his future success.

Transition to Television

Attaran made his official television debut in 1990 with the series Bidaran. However, his breakthrough came in 1993 with the comedy series Parvaz 57, produced by Mehran Modiri. The show’s popularity skyrocketed, positioning Attaran as a rising star in Iran’s comedy scene.

Rise to Fame with Saat Khosh

In 1994, Attaran’s performance in Saat Khosh, a popular comedy program directed by Mehran Modiri, earned him widespread recognition. Not only did he act, but he also contributed as a writer, showcasing his comedic talent alongside prominent figures like Reza Shafiejam and Nasrallah Radesh.
