Throughout his career, Morteza recorded over 180 songs and contributed to approximately 50 Iranian movies. His unique voice, coupled with his ability to convey deep emotions through his music, earned him a special place in the hearts of his listeners. Morteza’s unwavering dedication to his craft and his willingness to address social and political issues through his songs cemented his legacy as an influential figure in Iranian music.
Morteza’s impact extended beyond his musical endeavors. In 2002, he founded the “Iran Culture House,” a cultural center in the United States that aimed to foster social cohesion among the Iranian community through artistic and cultural activities. The Iran Culture House became a hub for theater, music, lectures, and art classes, nurturing creativity and connection among Iranians living abroad.
