3. Entry into the Iranian Entertainment Industry

First Professional Steps: 1994

Mehran Ghafourian’s official debut in the entertainment industry was with the comedy series Labkhand Som, directed by Masoud Rashidi. The show aired on Channel 3 and was broadcast weekly, garnering a large audience across Iran.

This early exposure introduced him to television audiences and helped him build connections with industry veterans such as Ahmad Pakzad, Bijan Banafshekhah, and Seyyed Javad Rezavian.
