Emotional Impact of Parental Divorce

A significant turning point in Maryam’s life was her parents’ divorce, which she has described as a heartbreaking experience. During an interview in January 2023, she shed tears describing how she felt when the judge asked her which parent she wanted to live with. This emotional trauma deeply affected her childhood but also strengthened her resolve to succeed.

Working as a Dental Assistant

To support herself financially after her parents’ separation, Maryam worked as a dental assistant from the third grade. She also engaged in online work to sustain her ambitions, demonstrating her resilience and independence at a young age.
