Babak Takhti’s Education and Professional Career
Unlike his father, whose public identity was built around wrestling, Babak Takhti pursued an academic and literary career.
Biographical descriptions identify political science as his field of study. His professional activities have included writing and publishing, including work associated with Nashr-e Ghesseh, or Ghesseh Publishing.
His career illustrates how a person connected to a famous family can develop an independent professional identity. Instead of entering the sporting world, Babak worked in a field that allowed him to explore ideas, stories, history and cultural memory.
Publishing is especially relevant to this trajectory. A publisher can contribute to cultural life by helping authors bring their work to readers, supporting literary projects and maintaining access to writing that might otherwise receive limited attention.
