Transfer to Albanian Club Partizani
In September 2017, Asani made a significant move to Albanian football by signing with Partizani Tirana. Initially assigned to the reserve team, he quickly made his mark, scoring a hat-trick for Partizani B and earning a place in the senior squad. His debut came in October 2017, and he soon became a key player, netting 24 goals in 106 appearances.
Loan to AIK Stockholm
In January 2020, Asani was loaned to AIK Stockholm in Sweden, where he scored on his debut and made a total of seven appearances. Despite the limited playing time, his talent was recognized, and he returned to Partizani for the next season.
Move to Hungarian Club Kisvárda
In July 2021, Asani transferred to Kisvárda in Hungary, where he continued to develop his skills and scored six goals across 44 appearances. His performances caught the eye of Asian clubs, leading to his next move.
Exciting Stint at Gwangju FC in South Korea
In December 2022, Jasir Asani joined Gwangju FC in South Korea’s K League 1. His debut was memorable, scoring the winning goal against Suwon Samsung Bluewings. He scored two hat-tricks in the 2023 season, including a historic performance in the AFC Champions League Elite, where he scored a hat-trick against Yokohama F. Marinos.
One of his most notable achievements was leading Gwangju FC to the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League Elite in 2025, scoring decisive goals in key matches and cementing his reputation as a clutch performer.
