Azadeh Samadi was born on January 7, 1978, in Lahijan, Gilan Province, Iran. Coming from a modest family of five, she is the eldest of three children, with two younger brothers. Her father is a freelancer, and her mother works as a social worker, which likely influenced her compassionate personality and deep understanding of social issues.

Education and Artistic Foundations

Samadi pursued her undergraduate studies in theater at Tehran’s Soure University, one of Iran’s prominent arts institutions. She also took acting classes under the mentorship of Parviz Parastoei, a notable figure in Iranian theater. Her early theatrical performances, such as the stage play Bishir va Shekar (2003), marked the beginning of her artistic journey. She gained further experience in the Darya Rundegan teletheater in 2006, honing her craft in television acting.
